I was lucky (read: unlucky) enough to Tinder match with ‘the most hated man in America’ — also known as AIDS drug pharma bro Martin Shkreli. Once we started messaging, I asked him how he was feeling about his recent media coverage and attempted to engage him in a conversation about the evils of capitalism, but he unmatched me when I asked if he thought he was the Edward Snowden of AIDS drugs. My interaction with him gave me perspective on how evil people justify their actions to themselves, as well as the humanity of the men I interact with on Tinder.”
