A new poll by AP/GfK shows that most Democrats now have a very favorable view of Hillary Clinton, and is now viewed as the most likely candidate among all those running for President to win the White House next November.
The poll indicates that 8 in 10 Democrats believe it is possible or likely that Clinton can win the general election if she wins the nomination. In addition 75% of all those questioned including two thirds of Republicans believe that Clinton can win the general election.
By comparison, only 44% of those surveyed believe that Sanders can win a general election.
*Note that this poll was taken prior to the Biden decision not to run, so it is very likely that there will be a sizable uptick in support and favorability for Clinton on both the nomination and G.E. forefront.*
