Mic’s Zeeshan Aleem has watched the war on minimum wage unfold and wanted to see how unrealistic it really is to pay people a living wage: “Much of the restaurant industry has been up in arms over $15 minimum wage laws passing in cities across the country, and I wanted to find an example of a non-high end restaurant that was able to manage that wage while employing full-time workers and still turning a profit. Not only was this eatery successful, but the move could lead to the restaurant’s expansion.”
