The polls tell us that a sizable group with that sentiment exists on both sides of the aisle. But with both of these “protest” candidates having topped out in the polls over the past month, it also suggests they’ve reached their saturation points. Bernie Sanders has amassed his seventeen percent of the liberal protest vote, while Donald Trump has amassed his twenty-five percent of the conservative protest vote. And it looks like that’s where the needle stops. As neither man appears to be able to win his own party let alone the general election, once both are removed from the equation, Hillary Clinton emerges as the clear favorite to win both. Then again, with her already-massive lead even with Sanders and Trump still in the race, that much was clear to begin with.

How Donald Trump And Bernie Sanders Are Alike
The polls tell us that a sizable group with that sentiment exists on both sides of the aisle. Bernie Sanders has amassed his seventeen percent of the liberal protest vote, while Donald Trump has amassed his twenty-five percent of the conservative protest vote.
