Russian police have seized painting showing Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev wearing sexy women’s lingerie

Russian police have seized this controversial painting showing Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev wearing sexy women’s lingerie. Another shows Vitaly Milonov, co-author of the recent anti-gay law, with a backdrop of the rainbow flag. The paintings are part of a series called “The Travesty” created by Konstantin Altunin, who has since fled the country and is applying for asylum in France. St. Petersburg police could not name which piece of “existing legislation” made it legal for them to take down the art. Remember, St. Petersburg is set to host a G-20 summit attended by Putin and President Obama in just over a week. Let’s hope nobody decides to go “rainbow rogue.”
