Club for Growth Launches Attack Ads Against Donald Trump

It’s kind of weird to watch these, because they betray a fundamental misunderstanding of Donald Trump’s appeal to the right wing base. What Donald Trump has done, and the reason he’s so acclaimed by the Tea Party right, has nothing to do with economic policies.
"Trump is wildly popular with the right wing base because he’s tapped into the xenophobic fear that really drives them. Trump is promising to deal with their main obsession and their main paranoid fear: that hordes of brown people and terrorist Muslims are taking over their neighborhoods.

The right wing establishment group Club for Growth has launched a couple of high-priced attack ads at Donald Trump (reportedly costing more than a million dollars), trying to paint him as a stealth liberal.
