Just 14% of engineers working in the U.S. in 2012 were female — and one of them just broke her silence to highlight the struggles that women face as such an underrepresented part of the field. Isis Anchalee, an engineer in San Francisco, launched the hashtag #ILookLikeAnEngineer and women across the Internet have taken her empowering message to viral levels.
