Essential new analyses from Stan Greenberg and Ruy Teixeira

There are two new analyses and a dramatic policy statement by a major progressive organization that are absolutely required reading for all progressives and Democrats.
The first is an interview with Ruy Teixeira in which Ruy mobilizes the data from his latest deep analysis of political demography to directly tackle the central question of the day: Can Donald Trump actually mobilize a right-wing coalition large enough to win a general election?

The second analysis comes from Stan Greenberg's Democracy Corps. As Democracy Corps describes it: "This new survey of Republican voters shows they are headed towards a train-wreck that will change our politics. That may seem like hyperbole, but this unique, one of kind survey is an eye opening glimpse into what is really happening. With the GOP's battles alienating large swaths of the country and an internal civil war in full swing, the 2016 campaign is full of opportunity for progressives."

Finally, Markos Moulitsas, publisher of Daily Kos, announces a dramatic new policy for the leading progressive website. Responding to the failure of many extreme Clinton and Sanders supporters to follow the positive example of mutual respect and Democratic unity set by Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton themselves, Kos asserts that "I will no longer tolerate malicious attacks that copy the Right's hate-fueled media machine" and backs the policy with the threat to ban violators from posting on the site.

We believe you will find these analyses both useful and important.

Sincerely,
