Here's some interesting news about race and politics: White men really, really like Trump. In a new Washington Post-ABC News poll, white men favored Trump by more than 40 points over Clinton. What's more, the poll suggests these men's views of how much influence they have in society is a key indicator of their support for Trump.
If you believe that men and white people have too little influence in society, you're much more likely to support Trump, writes Mic.com's Emily Cahn.
Nearly 40 percent of Trump supporters say minorities have "too much" influence in the United States, while 68 percent said male influence in society is "about right."
