We know diversity in Hollywood is less than stellar, but a hard look at the data shows just how bad things really are. A recent study looked at the top 100 films of 2014 and found that just 28.1% of characters were female, 26.9% were non-white and only 14 films featured queer characters. Luckily, there’s an easy fix, and it lays at the fingertips of content creators. |
