Dyllan Roof's Sister Takes Down Gofundme Page

We first posted this on facebook and twitter and social media exploded

But the move has sparked anger on Twitter. One Twitter user, @Ajijaakwe said: “So many words for this, none of them good.”  Another described the page as “beyond disgusting”.  Others disagree. The page has already amassed $1,595 worth of funding. One donor wrote: “I to am getting married this August and can only imagine how this could be devastating to you. I hope my small contribution can help you out.” Another added: “dont listen 2 all them pigs wollerin in the mud, have yall selfs a nice trip.”

Dylann Roof's sister, Amber, has launched an online fundraising drive to to recoup lost wedding costs after her brother's massacre forced her to cancel the wedding.

Amber Roof, the sister of Dylann Roof, who shot and killed nine people in an attack on the Emanuel African Episcopal Church in Charleston, has started a GoFundMe page to recoup the costs of her wedding day, cancelled in the wake of Roof’s murderous assault on the South Carolina church.
“Our wedding day was suppose [sic] to be the most important and special day of our lives,” Roof writes, “It was suppose to start our lives together with our new family. Our day was the exact opposite. Our wedding day was full of sorrow, pain, and shame, tainted by the actions of one man.”
“The media,” she continues, “abused our privacy and published all of our wedding information and destroyed our dream day. Destroying the first day of Michael and my life together.”
10 per cent of all funds raised will go to the African Episcopal Church, while the rest will be used to cover “lost wedding costs, to pay bills, and to send us on our dream honeymoon”.
